For Parliamentarians by Parliamentarians:

Building the political will to end HIV and AIDS

About Our Network

The Global Parliamentary Platform on HIV and AIDS (GPP HIV) is a new inter-parliamentary forum bringing together legislators around the world to end HIV and AIDS.

GPP HIV was launched in July 2024 at the International AIDS Conference (AIDS2024) with the support of over 300 members of parliament from over 40 countries. Since then, it has continued to grow.

The platform has been founded by parliamentarian platforms such as the Global TB Caucus, the Global Equality Caucus and UNITE in partnership with UNAIDS, StopAIDS, WACI Health and the International AIDS Society.

AIDS claims a life every minute.

HIV is preventable and treatable, yet 9.2 million people remain without treatment.

1.3 million people aquired HIV last year.

HIV is everywhere, but together, we can end it. Global action is the cure to the epidemic.

Why HIV and AIDS?
